Moon Hollow Atelier Terms of Purchase

Terms of Purchase

Last updated: October 12, 2026

These Terms of Purchase govern purchases made from Moon Hollow Atelier, operated by Moon Hollow Creative LLC (“Moon Hollow Atelier,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By completing a purchase, you (“the Customer”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Products and Services

Moon Hollow Atelier offers exclusive premade book covers, optional paperback print-wrap design services, book-launch promotional graphics, and downloadable digital design assets.

The product description, price, included deliverables, available upgrades, revision allowance, and estimated turnaround displayed at the time of purchase form part of these terms.

2. Downloadable Digital Products

Moon Hollow Atelier offers downloadable digital products that may include design-asset collections, scene dividers, chapter-header artwork, ornamental graphics, Canva templates, book-launch template kits, genre-matched author collections, and other publishing-design resources.

The exact contents, file formats, dimensions, software requirements, licence type, and included variations are stated on the applicable product page.

Delivery

Downloadable digital products are generally processed and delivered through Lemon Squeezy or another identified digital-delivery provider.

After a successful purchase, the Customer will receive access to the files or template links associated with the order. The Customer is responsible for:

  • Providing a valid and accessible email address
  • Downloading the purchased files within any stated access period
  • Safely backing up the files after delivery
  • Ensuring that the required software or platform is available before purchasing
  • Reviewing the product description and compatibility information

Moon Hollow Atelier is not responsible for loss of access caused by an incorrect email address, deletion of downloaded files, loss of account access, discontinued third-party software, or the Customer’s failure to maintain an appropriate backup.

Reasonable assistance may be provided where a valid purchaser experiences a verified delivery or file-access problem.

Software and Platform Compatibility

The Customer is responsible for confirming compatibility before purchasing.

Certain products may require or be designed for applications or platforms such as Canva, Atticus, Adobe software, Affinity software, Clip Studio Paint, Microsoft Word, or other identified applications.

References to third-party platforms describe intended compatibility only and do not indicate sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or control by Moon Hollow Atelier.

Moon Hollow Atelier cannot guarantee that a third-party platform will maintain its current features, pricing, file support, interface, availability, or terms of use.

Canva Templates

Where a product includes a Canva template link, the Customer receives access to create and customize their own copy of the template.

The Customer must use the template and any included elements in accordance with Canva’s applicable terms and licensing requirements.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • A Canva account may be required
  • Access to the template does not transfer ownership of the original Moon Hollow Atelier design
  • The template may be customized for the Customer’s own permitted projects
  • The original template, modified template, or template link may not be resold, redistributed, shared, sublicensed, or offered to third parties
  • Individual artwork, graphics, backgrounds, layouts, or decorative components may not be extracted for resale or redistribution

Any product-specific instructions or licence restrictions displayed on the product page or included with the download form part of these Terms.

Licence

Purchase of a downloadable digital product grants the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product in accordance with the applicable Moon Hollow Atelier licence supplied with or linked from the product.

Purchase does not transfer copyright, ownership of the design, or ownership of any underlying third-party content.

Unless expressly permitted by the applicable licence, the Customer may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, gift, share, or upload the original files
  • Share files or template links with unauthorized users
  • Offer the product or any extracted component as a template, stock asset, free resource, or digital download
  • Claim the artwork, template, layout, or design as their own
  • Upload the files to asset libraries, marketplaces, file-sharing platforms

3. Exclusive Premade Covers

Each premade cover is sold only once as a complete design.

After a successful purchase, the cover will be marked as sold and removed from availability. Exclusivity applies to the finished cover composition as a whole. It does not grant exclusivity over individual fonts, stock photographs, illustrations, textures, ornaments, or other properly licensed components used within the design.

If a technical error results in the same exclusive cover being sold more than once, Moon Hollow Atelier will honour the earliest completed transaction and refund any later duplicate purchase.

A purchased cover may be used only for the book title and author or pen name supplied through the customer intake form unless written permission is granted for another use.

4. Customization

Premade-cover customization applies to text only. This may include the book title, subtitle, author or pen name, series information, tagline, and other agreed cover wording.

Artwork is sold as displayed. Purchase does not include replacement, alteration, repositioning, recolouring, extension, or customization of the underlying artwork unless Moon Hollow Atelier agrees to separate paid work in writing.

The Customer is responsible for checking all submitted spelling, punctuation, capitalization, names, dates, links, and other wording. Moon Hollow Atelier is not responsible for errors contained in Customer-approved or Customer-supplied text.

5. Customer Intake Information

After payment, the Customer must complete the Moon Hollow Atelier Premade Cover Customization Form.

Work begins only after all required information, specifications, and approved assets have been received. Delivery estimates do not begin on the payment date if the required intake information is incomplete.

Incomplete, contradictory, or changing information may delay delivery. Moon Hollow Atelier may request clarification before beginning or continuing the project.

5. Deliverables

The Customer will receive the finished files described on the relevant product page or checkout page.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the applicable product page, custom cover and service deliverables are supplied as flattened, non-editable files. Layered working files, Clip Studio Paint files, font files, stock assets, and other production materials are not included.

Downloadable products may include editable Canva templates or other reusable files only where those items are expressly identified as part of the purchased product.

Colours may vary between screens, devices, printers, paper types, and printing facilities. Such normal variations do not constitute a defect in the files.

6. Revisions

The number of included text revisions is stated on the applicable product page.

A revision means a reasonable correction or adjustment to the Customer’s cover text. Revisions do not include replacement or customization of artwork, a new design direction, a different premade cover, substantial changes to previously approved wording, or work outside the purchased package.

Requests exceeding the included revision allowance may require an additional fee. No additional work will be undertaken without informing the Customer first.

Corrections required because Moon Hollow Atelier introduced an error that was not present in the Customer’s submitted wording will not count against the included revision allowance.

7. Paperback Print-Wrap Upgrades

Print-wrap upgrades are prepared exclusively for Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (“KDP”), IngramSpark or Lulu. The customer is required to specify their chosen platform at the time of purchase. Only one platform is applicable per upgrade. If the customer requires additional platform files, a separate written agreement would be created for this custom request.

Paperback and hardcover wraps are separate deliverables. The Atelier does not offer hardcover wraps at this time.

The Customer must provide accurate final specifications, including:

  • Final trim size
  • Final formatted page count
  • Binding type
  • Interior ink type
  • Paper colour
  • Back-cover wording
  • Spine wording, where applicable
  • Any other information required by the template of their chosen platform.
  • For the IngramSpark and Lulu platform, the customer is required to generate their own platform specific templates and email them to the Atelier before the print-wrap production can begin.

Print-wrap production cannot begin until these specifications are final.

Changes to trim size, page count, binding, ink, or paper after design work begins may require the wrap to be rebuilt and may incur an additional fee.

The Customer is responsible for reviewing the final file through their print platform’s previewer and ordering a physical proof where appropriate. Moon Hollow Atelier does not control the platform’s printing, trimming, color reproduction, manufacturing, approval process, or later template changes.

Print-wrap files are not formatted for platforms outside of the approved list (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark and Lulu) or any other printer unless a separate service is expressly agreed to in writing.

8. Book Launch Graphics Upgrade

The Book Launch Graphics Upgrade includes six coordinated, ready-to-post promotional designs:

  • Cover Reveal
  • Tropes or Key Hooks
  • Blurb or Synopsis
  • Available Now
  • Two additional campaign graphics selected by the Customer

Each design is supplied in Instagram-feed and Pinterest-pin dimensions.

The Customer receives finished, flattened promotional files. Editable templates and source files are not included.

The Customer must supply all required campaign information, including release dates, links, tropes, blurbs, quotations, review excerpts, reviewer attribution, and calls to action. The Customer confirms that they have permission to use all supplied quotations, reviews, logos, photographs, and other materials.

Book Launch Graphics require additional production time beyond standard ebook-cover customization.

9. Turnaround and Delivery

Any stated turnaround period is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date.

The turnaround period begins only after Moon Hollow Atelier receives:

  • Cleared payment
  • A complete intake form
  • Finalized text and specifications
  • All required Customer-supplied materials

Delays caused by missing information, specification changes, late replies, platform outages, illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond reasonable control will extend the delivery period.

Finished files will be delivered electronically using the email address or delivery method associated with the order. The Customer is responsible for downloading and safely backing up all delivered files.

10. Payment, Taxes, and Discounts

All prices are displayed in United States dollars unless stated otherwise.

Payment must be completed before work begins. Payments may be processed through Stripe Managed Payments and displayed as sold through Link.

Applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar transaction taxes may be calculated and collected during checkout.

Discounts and promotion codes must be entered during checkout and cannot ordinarily be applied retroactively. A promotion code is valid only when all stated eligibility conditions are met.

11. Cancellations and Refunds for Premade Covers and Services

Because each premade cover is exclusive, removed from sale after purchase, and prepared using Customer-specific text, purchases are generally final and non-refundable.

Refunds may be issued where:

  • A duplicate charge occurred
  • A technical error caused the same exclusive cover to be sold more than once
  • Moon Hollow Atelier is unable to fulfil the purchased order
  • A materially defective file cannot be corrected within a reasonable period
  • A refund is otherwise required by applicable law

A change of mind, change of book concept, abandoned publication, incorrect Customer-supplied information, failure to provide required specifications, or dissatisfaction with artwork sold as displayed does not ordinarily qualify for a refund.

Purchasing the wrong upgrade does not guarantee a refund once work on that upgrade has begun.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

12.Premade Cover Intellectual Property and Licence

For premade covers and related custom graphics, Moon Hollow Atelier and its licensors retain ownership of all applicable copyrights and intellectual-property rights in the design, artwork, working files, licensed assets, and production materials.

Downloadable digital products are governed by Section 2 of these Terms and the applicable Moon Hollow Atelier licence supplied with or linked from the product.

After full payment, the Customer receives an exclusive commercial licence to use the finished premade cover for the associated book and its ordinary promotion, subject to these terms.

The Customer may:

  • Display the finished cover on retailer, author, publisher, review, and promotional platforms
  • Use the cover to publish and market the associated ebook
  • Use an appropriately purchased print wrap for the corresponding KDP print edition
  • Use purchased launch graphics to promote the associated book

The Customer may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, gift, or share the cover as a standalone asset
  • Sell or distribute the design as a template, stock asset, or editable file
  • Extract and reuse individual design elements
  • Claim authorship of the cover artwork or design
  • Use the files for a different book without written permission
  • Use the files or artwork to train, fine-tune, test, or develop artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems
  • Create NFTs or other blockchain-based assets from the files
  • Use the design for merchandise or unrelated commercial products without written permission

No copyright assignment is made unless expressly agreed in a separate signed document.

13. Customer-Supplied Materials

The Customer confirms that they own or have permission to use every title, quotation, review, logo, photograph, illustration, trademark, and other item supplied to Moon Hollow Atelier.

The Customer is responsible for claims arising from materials they supplied without the necessary permission. Moon Hollow Atelier may refuse or discontinue work involving content reasonably believed to be unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate.

14. Fonts and Licensed Assets

Finished designs may contain fonts, photographs, illustrations, textures, ornaments, or other assets licensed from third parties.

The Customer receives the finished flattened design, not ownership of or direct access to those underlying assets. Third-party components remain subject to their original licences.

15. Portfolio Use

Moon Hollow Atelier may display the finished cover and related graphics in its portfolio, website, social media, marketplace profiles, and promotional materials.

Where practical, public portfolio display will occur after the Customer has publicly revealed the cover. Customers requiring confidentiality before a specific date must request and obtain written agreement before work begins.

16. Platform Approval and Commercial Results

Moon Hollow Atelier does not guarantee that the customer’s chosen printing or distribution platform, another retailer, printer, advertising platform, or social-media service will approve or continue accepting a file.

Moon Hollow Atelier also does not guarantee sales, rankings, readership, advertising performance, engagement, reviews, or any other commercial result from the purchased design.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moon Hollow Atelier’s total liability arising from an order will not exceed the amount the Customer paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

Moon Hollow Atelier is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages; platform outages or policy changes; printing or manufacturing errors outside its control; loss caused by inaccurate Customer information; or loss resulting from the Customer’s failure to download, review, proof, or back up delivered files.

18. Refusal or Termination of Service

Moon Hollow Atelier may refuse or terminate service where a Customer engages in harassment, threats, fraud, chargeback abuse, intellectual-property infringement, unlawful conduct, or repeated demands for work outside the purchased scope.

Where service is terminated, any refund will depend on the work already completed, costs incurred, the reason for termination, and applicable law.

19. Changes to These Terms

Moon Hollow Atelier may update these Terms of Purchase periodically.

The version in effect when an order is completed will govern that order unless a later change is required by law or expressly agreed to by both parties.
