Premade Ebook Covers

What is a premade book cover?

A premade book cover is a professionally designed cover that has already been created and is available for purchase by one author or publisher.

The artwork is sold as displayed. After purchase, the sample title, author name, tagline, and other applicable text will be replaced with the information you provide.

Are your premade covers exclusive?

Yes. Each premade cover is sold only once.

Once a cover has been purchased, it will be marked as sold and removed from availability. The completed cover composition will not be resold to another customer.

Exclusivity applies to the overall completed design. Individual fonts, licensed stock images, textures, ornaments, and other underlying design elements may be nonexclusive.

What customization is included?

Premade-cover customization is limited to text.

Depending on the design, this may include:

Book title
Series title
Author or pen name
Tagline
Applicable badge or series information

The artwork, characters, composition, and major visual elements are not customized or replaced.

Can you change the character, clothing, colours, or background?

No. Premade-cover artwork is sold as displayed.

Minor adjustments required to accommodate the supplied text may be made at Moon Hollow Atelier’s discretion, but custom artwork, character alterations, background replacements, and substantial compositional changes are not included.

What file will I receive?

The standard ebook-cover purchase includes a finished, flattened, high-resolution JPG file in RGB colour mode.

The standard cover dimensions are 1800 × 2700 pixels.

Source files, layered working files, font files, stock files, and individual design elements are not included.

Is the ebook cover suitable for Amazon KDP?

The ebook-cover file is designed for digital publication and can be uploaded to Amazon KDP and many other ebook retailers.

Every retailer maintains its own technical requirements, and those requirements may change. Customers should verify the current requirements of their chosen platform before publication.

A print-ready paperback or hardcover wrap is not included with the ebook-cover purchase.

Can I use the same cover for paperback or hardcover?

The front-cover design may be adapted into a print wrap by purchasing the appropriate KDP Print-Wrap Upgrade.

Paperback and hardcover wraps require different templates and are treated as separate deliverables.

Can I use the cover for more than one book?

No. A premade cover is licensed for one associated book title by the author or pen name supplied during customization.

It may not be reused for another book, another entry in a series, another author, or an unrelated product without written permission.

Can I alter the finished cover myself?

You may make ordinary platform-required resizing adjustments that do not materially alter the design.

You may not extract individual elements, modify the artwork, commission another designer to substantially alter it, or use it to create another cover or design product.

Please contact Moon Hollow Atelier if you require an adjustment after delivery.

How many revisions are included?

The number of included text revisions is displayed on the individual cover’s product page.

A revision covers reasonable corrections or adjustments to the supplied text. It does not include changes to the artwork, characters, overall concept, or composition.

Corrections required because incorrect information was submitted by the customer may require additional time or fees.

How long will my cover take?

The estimated turnaround time is displayed on the applicable product page or communicated after your information has been reviewed.

Turnaround begins after:

Payment has been completed
The required intake form has been submitted
All necessary and accurate information has been received

Print wraps and Book Launch Graphics require additional production time.

What happens after I purchase a cover?

After payment, you will be directed to the Premade Cover Intake Form.

You will use this form to submit your:

Book and author information
Required cover text
Contact details
Upgrade specifications, where applicable
Book Launch Graphics information, if purchased

Please submit the form carefully. Production cannot begin until all required information has been received.

What if I accidentally close the intake-form page?

Contact Moon Hollow Atelier using the same email address entered during checkout. We will provide the appropriate intake-form link.

What happens to the cover listing after purchase?

Once the order has been confirmed, the cover will be marked as sold or removed from the catalogue as soon as reasonably possible.

If two customers attempt to purchase the same cover before its availability can be updated, the successfully completed payment recorded first will receive the cover. Any later duplicate payment will be refunded.

Paperback Print-Wrap Upgrades

What is a print-wrap upgrade?

A print wrap is the complete exterior file used for a printed book. It generally includes:

Front cover
Spine
Back cover
Bleed and production margins
Barcode area, where applicable

The print wrap adapts your purchased premade ebook cover for an eligible printed edition. Upgrades are only applicable to one chosen platform in our approved list. Additional platform print-wraps would require a custom written agreement and would be subject to custom pricing.

Which printing platform do you support?

Moon Hollow Atelier’s print-wrap upgrades are prepared for Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, IngramSpark and Lulu only.

They are not represented as compatible with Barnes & Noble Press, Draft2Digital Print, or other printing platforms.

Are paperback and hardcover included together?

No. Paperback and hardcover print wraps are separate deliverables. The Atelier does not currently offer hardcover print-wraps at this time.

What information do you need for a print wrap?

You will generally need to provide:

Final trim size
Final page count
Paper colour
Ink or interior type
Bleed selection
Book blurb
Spine text
Back-cover text
Applicable author or publisher information

Additional information may be requested depending on the selected platform. Customers printing with the IngramSpark or Lulu platforms are required to generate their own platform ready template and email it to the Atelier before print-wrap production can begin.

Your final page count and production specifications should be confirmed before print-wrap work begins.

Is there a limit for the back-cover blurb?

Yes. Back-cover space is limited, and concise copy produces the strongest result.

The intake form provides the applicable word limit. Text exceeding that limit may need to be shortened. Moon Hollow Atelier may make minor formatting adjustments, but we do not provide copywriting or substantial editorial rewriting as part of the print-wrap upgrade.

An author biography is not included on the back cover unless expressly agreed in advance.

What happens if my page count changes?

A change in page count can alter the spine width and require the print-wrap file to be rebuilt.

If your page count or other production specifications change after work has started or after the completed wrap has been delivered, an adjustment fee may apply.

Do you upload the file my platform for me?

No. You are responsible for uploading the completed file to your platform account, reviewing the platform’s print previewer, ordering any desired proof copy, and approving the book for publication.

If your chosen platform identifies a technical issue caused by our file preparation, please provide a screenshot or copy of the platform’s message so that it can be reviewed.

Book Launch Graphics

What is included in the Book Launch Graphics Upgrade?

The Book Launch Graphics Upgrade provides a coordinated set of finished promotional graphics based on your purchased cover.

The collection includes:

Cover Reveal
Preorder
Tropes
Blurb or Synopsis
ARC Readers Wanted
Available Now

Each design is supplied in:

Instagram feed dimensions
Pinterest pin dimensions

This produces a total of 12 finished graphics: six designs in two platform sizes.

What if I am not running an ARC campaign or preorder?

The intake form allows you to select an available alternative where an ARC or preorder graphic is not applicable to your launch.

Please select the promotional messages that genuinely suit your campaign rather than submitting placeholder information.

Are the Book Launch Graphics editable?

No. This upgrade provides completed, ready-to-post graphics.

The files are designed so that you can upload them to the appropriate platform and add your caption, tags, and destination link. Editable Canva files and source files are not included.

Separately listed Canva-template products, where offered, are different products and will be clearly identified as editable templates.

Is a standalone 3D book mockup included?

Three-dimensional book presentation may be incorporated into the supplied promotional designs where appropriate.

A separate transparent mockup file or mockup generator is not included unless the product description expressly states otherwise.

Do you write the promotional copy for me?

You must provide the book information required for the selected graphics, including your tropes, blurb, release information, preorder information, and calls to action.

Moon Hollow Atelier may make minor edits for spacing, clarity, or visual presentation. Full copywriting, blurb writing, and marketing-strategy services are not included.

What is the difference between “link in bio” and “link in post”?

Some platforms, such as Instagram, generally direct users to a clickable link placed in the account biography. Other platforms, such as Pinterest, allow a destination link to be attached directly to the post or pin.

The intake form asks you to identify the appropriate call to action so that the wording of your graphics can match your intended platform and campaign.

Can the graphics be used for paid advertising?

Yes. You may use the completed Book Launch Graphics for organic or paid promotion of the associated book.

They may not be resold, redistributed, converted into templates or reused for a different book.

Digital Assets and Templates

What kinds of downloadable products do you offer?

Moon Hollow Atelier may offer:

Are digital assets editable?

This depends on the product.

Transparent PNG assets may usually be resized, recoloured, or incorporated into a larger design using compatible software. Flattened JPG and PDF files have more limited editability.

Products supplied as editable Canva templates will be clearly identified as such.

Always review the individual product description before purchasing.

What software do I need?

Software compatibility varies by product.

PNG and JPG files can be used in many common design, word-processing, and book-formatting applications, but individual programs handle graphics differently.

Canva templates require access to Canva. Some template features may require Canva Pro if this is stated on the product page.

You are responsible for confirming that your chosen software supports the listed file format before purchasing.

Can I use the assets in Atticus?

Individual PNG or JPG ornaments may be imported into Atticus where the software supports image placement.

Atticus controls how images are positioned and displayed, and its available formatting options may change. Some chapter-heading layouts may require manual placement rather than automatic use across every chapter.

Please test any available free sample if you are uncertain about compatibility with your workflow.

Can I use the assets in a commercially published book?

Yes. Unless a product page states otherwise, Atelier design assets include a single-user commercial licence allowing them to be incorporated into finished ebooks, printed books, and related promotional materials.

The original asset files may not be redistributed or made available for extraction by readers or customers.

Can I use an asset in more than one book?

Reusable design assets may generally be used across multiple projects owned by the same licensed purchaser or single-owner business.

Premade covers, custom promotional graphics, and products carrying project-specific restrictions are governed by different rules.

May I use the templates for client work?

The standard license is intended for marketing books published by you or your own author or publishing brand. It does not permit using the templates to create paid designs for clients.

If you are assisting a client, the client must purchase their own license. You may then customize the client’s licensed copy on their behalf, but you may not share, redistribute, or retain the original template for use with other clients.

Team, agency, and multi-client use is not included and would require purchase of a Professional/Agency License. Please contact Moon Hollow Atelier to enquire.

Can I resell an altered version of an asset?

No.

Resizing, recolouring, combining, or otherwise modifying an Atelier asset does not give you permission to sell or distribute the asset as a standalone product.

Assets may not be included in competing design packs, template collections, stock libraries, shared folders, or products from which they can be extracted.

Are free downloads subject to licensing restrictions?

Yes. Free does not mean public domain.

Free products remain protected by copyright and may not be resold, redistributed, uploaded to asset-sharing websites, or included in competing products.

Purchasing and Delivery

How are purchases processed?

Premade covers and their service upgrades are processed through Stripe.

Instant-download design products may be processed and delivered through Lemon Squeezy or another checkout provider identified on the product page.

Moon Hollow Atelier does not directly store your complete payment-card details.

Which currency are prices displayed in?

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Atelier prices are displayed and charged in United States dollars.

Your card issuer or payment provider may convert the transaction into your local currency and may charge conversion or international-transaction fees.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes. Your payment provider should send a transaction confirmation or receipt to the email address entered during checkout.

Please enter your email address carefully and check your spam or promotions folder if the receipt does not arrive.

How are instant-download products delivered?

After successful payment, you will receive access to the applicable download page or delivery email.

Download the files promptly and retain your own backup copy.

If you do not receive the files, contact us using the email address associated with your order.

Can I return or exchange a digital product?

Because downloadable files and digital licences cannot practically be returned, digital products are generally non-refundable once access or download has been provided.

Exceptions may apply where:

You were charged more than once for the same order
You received the wrong file
The supplied file is materially defective
A refund is required by applicable law

Please review product descriptions, formats, dimensions, compatibility information, and licensing conditions before purchasing.

Can I cancel a premade-cover order?

Because a purchased cover is removed from sale and reserved exclusively for the customer, cancellation and refund availability is limited.

Please review the applicable [Terms of Purchase] for the complete cancellation and refund conditions.

Do you collect sales tax?

Applicable taxes may be calculated or collected by the payment processor based on the transaction, product type, customer location, and relevant legal requirements.

Any tax or fee displayed at checkout forms part of the final amount due.

Licensing and Usage

Do I own the copyright after purchasing?

Purchasing a product grants you the applicable usage licence. It does not automatically transfer copyright or ownership of the original artwork, template, or design.

For exclusive premade covers, you receive exclusive use of the completed cover composition for the associated book. Moon Hollow Creative LLC retains copyright unless a separate written agreement expressly transfers it.

Is attribution required?

Attribution is not required for ordinary finished projects unless the applicable product page states otherwise.

Credit is always appreciated but does not replace the need for a valid licence.

Can I use Atelier products in AI training or image-generation systems?

No.

Atelier artwork, templates, assets, source files, product images, mockups, and other creative materials may not be used to train, fine-tune, test, benchmark, or develop artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems.

They may not be added to datasets, prompt libraries, automated style-replication systems, or generative platforms for the purpose of recreating the artwork or visual style.

Can I use Atelier products for NFTs or blockchain projects?

No. Atelier products may not be used for cryptocurrency, blockchain, or non-fungible-token projects.

Can my team share one licence?

The standard licence is for one user or one single-owner business.

Shared access by a team, agency, publisher, studio, organization, employee group, or multiple contractors requires prior permission and may require a Professional/Agency Licence.
